Capture and Storage  Ene.CO₂

Carbon dioxide (CO₂) is a greenhouse gas causing global warming. The Fundación Ciudad de Energía (CIUDEN) has put into effect in El Bierzo an experimental installation that will investigate technological options for the capture and storage of CO₂. The objective of this experimental plant is to reduce the emission into the atmosphere of millions of tonnes of this gas and thereby avoid an increase in the average temperature of the planet.
